Hi, I’m Sabine.
I’ve been designing and animating visuals for over ten years. I started out learning Photoshop in my late teens and never looked back after discovering the entire world of digital art. I have a BA in Design for Digital Media and a MA in Visual Effects.
Now I work as a designer and animator, creating digital art and animations for a wide range of applications. I am comfortable both in 2D and 3D and can work in either medium depending on what is required.
I’m often responsible for the whole production process from initial concept through storyboarding and animatic to final animation production. I enjoy getting stuck in and following a project from beginning to end and love seeing the final product emerge through feedback and iterations.
I’m always looking to improve my skills and learn new things - I love a challenge and equally enjoy working on client and personal projects.
Four random things about me
01
I have a long and unfortunate history of not being able to keep a straight face in front of a camera. I’m definitely a behind-the-camera kinda gal and usually spend most of my summer weekends working as an assistant photographer at weddings. Weddings are my happy place!
02
I love television and regularly fall in love with tv shows. The first time I ever opened Photoshop was in my late teens to create a desktop wallpaper for my favourite tv show, and that is how I started my journey of becoming a designer and animator. I’ve always wanted to return to my “roots” and work in television!

I am human can opener to the loudest cat on the planet. His name is Arthur, he is 17 years old and he loves to sing the song of his people, preferably at 4am at night. He often sleeps on my lap while I work, and likes to protest loudly when I talk to people that aren’t him. You can see a picture of his dreamboat self below.

I’m a member of a rare species: The GerBrit - a unique mix of german and british. The GerBrit can be regognised in the wild by its ability to somehow balance british politeness and german directness, being unfazed at Aldi checkout speeds, and its disdain for what the Brits consider edible bread. The GerBrit is also regularly spotted at airports juggling two passports.
