The Energy Institute, located in London, is a global professional body for the entire energy sector. The institute regularly publishes guidelines on best working practices and helps educate employees from all across the sector.

For this animation, they wanted to raise awareness of a practice called “bunding” - a bund is a secondary containment system around a container with chemicals that catches any potential spills. The video needed to explain what a bund is, what kind of bunds exist and why and where they should be used.

The project was a team effort - I was responsible for the script and design and animation of half the shots, a colleague designed and animated the other half.
